Asian History - "Eyewitness"

An "Interactive Situation Simulation Software" game about the 1937 Nanjing Massacre, when, over the course of 6 weeks, over 300,000 civilians were killed by Japanese troops invading the city.

Although modeled on the first person shooter genre, the player uses no guns or explosives but takes the role of a cameraman assigned to the Japanese Invasion.

Chemistry - "MeCHeM"

A game for middle schoolers learning chemistry and the properties of elements. Players select elements and strategies to equip their mechs with armor, batteries, capacitors and weapons, and then battle the Mechs to see which is the stronger.

Winner of the Liemandt Foundation’s first “Hidden Agenda” content in 2004, MeCHeM was created and prototyped by a team of college students from the University of Central Florida, and developed by Games2train.

Computer Networks - The Binary game

Cisco has added the Binary Game to its Cisco Certified Network Associate Prep Center. According to Cisco, the game teaches strategies related to the binary system, a foundation knowledge used by CCNAs to install, configure and operate networks. While playing the binary game, rows of 1s and 0s appear from the bottom of the screen. The player clicks the 1s and 0s to create binary numbers, and earns points when answering correctly, the company says. The challenge starts when rows begin to appear faster and faster. As players achieve higher sores and advanced levels, they begin to recognize patterns and develop conversion strategies, Cisco explains.
